The Oracles suffered a 3-2 loss Thursday evening against county rival Carroll. Carroll broke through with an early goal and then notched a second off of a penalty kick. As the first half closed, junior Bobby Norman put one away from some distance to move the score to 2-1 going into the half. Delphi showed promise in the second half as senior Kenny Zaldivar tied it up at 2-2 of an assist from sophomore Cole Rickels. The game remained that way until the final seconds when Carroll finished a shot that deflected off the post into the goal. Senior goalkeeper Brayton Slifer recorded 6 saves.
