Boys Varsity Soccer · Boys Soccer celebrates its seniors

The Oracles hosted Rochester last evening for their last home and regular season match of the year. The start of the game was delayed due to weather and then ended approximately 22 minutes early due to darkness. Delphi recognized its seniors prior to the match which included:

#7   MF   Isaias Cervantes
#10 MF   Aldo Guadarrama
#11 MF   Kolt Kinsler
#19 MF   Robin Koslowski
#12 D      Wyatt Rumell
#19 D      Henry Sandoval
#23 GK    Brayton Slifer
#9   MF    Kenny Zaldivar

The game didn’t end as Delphi would have liked as Rochester managed to score the only goal of the match. However, it did not overshadow the solid effort from the seniors and their teammates. The coaches would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the seniors and their parents for the dedication and support of the program. Their leadership has pushed the program to improve and establish a foundation upon which future classes can build.

The program moves to 5-9-1 overall. Delphi will now turn its focus to the opening round of sectionals as they take on Benton Central next Wednesday at 5:00 pm.
