When Tuesday night rolled around the Lady Oracles looked to extend their four game winning streak as well as notching another big win on the road. Leaving with a win was an understatement though as they left Clinton Prairie with a 52-25 win as well as improving to a 12-4 overall record.
As soon as the ball was tipped Clinton Prairie looked posed for an upset as they scored the first three points but that was until Delphi’s offense pounced on them with Tatum Minier, Rylee Lane and Bailey Gasser all working to a 10-8 lead going into the second quarter.
Most of the work was done in the paint by Minier while all of Lane’s points came off of Lady Bomber’s turnovers and Gasser poured it in from midrange.
Rylee Lane was all over in the second quarter as she helped Delphi to a 13-2 run, chipping in 6 points in the beginning of the quarter while junior guard, Dani Swayze hit an open 3 and Erika Carroll had a put back lay up for 2.
It was all Delphi from then on out, leading 23-10 going into halftime and then coming out in the 2nd half scoring 19 points in the second half while holding the Bombers to 13 points and cake walking their way to a convincing 52-25 win.
The Lady Oracles were led by Myka Roth who scored all 13 of her points in the second half followed by Minier with 10, Gasser and Lane both with 8 and Swayze, 9. Minier led the team on the boards with a game high 9 rebounds.
