Playing without Ross due to illness, the Oracles fell to Class 2A #11-ranked Tipton last Tuesday in their final Hoosier Conference game of the year.
Delphi never led in the contest, falling behind 7-0 at the start before trailing 16-11 at the end of the 1st period, but staying close at 27-20 at the half.
The Blue Devils (13-4) again scored the first four points of the 3rd period, and the Oracles would not get any closer than eight the rest of the game, falling behind 42-26 at the end of the 3rd period before losing 58-43.
Hawn led with 17 points, followed by Lane with 10, Walters five, Windell four, Murray three, and Kesling and Adam Zink with two each.
JV wins two — The Delphi JV (8-15) defeated Pioneer 55-48 and Frontier 67-41 after losing 60-33 at Tipton.
Against the Panthers, Vladimir Danicic led with 17 points, followed by Daniel Jakes with 14, Cade Murray 12, Kain Myer seven, Weston Windell three and Jensyn Reef.
Jakes scored 23 against the Falcons; Danicic added 20, Murray nine, Windell seven, Myer six and Reef two.
Myer led with 11 against the Blue Devils, Jakes had seven, Murray six, Danicic five and Trent Green four.
