Delphi senior catcher Josh Gillam signed a national letter-of-intent Friday to continue his academic and athletic career at Bethel College.
Gillam is a three-year varsity starter who helped the Oracles advance to the Regional championship game during his sophomore season, finishing with a 23-7 record and a Sectional championship.
As a junior, he helped lead Delphi to a 20-7 season record with a .333 batting average, a team 2nd-best 26 RBI’s and seven doubles (tied for 2nd-best on team).
“Josh has tremendous work ethic and knows the game well,” Oracle head coach Kerry Yoder said. “He has been an outstanding leader for our team and will bring his passion for the game with him at the next level.”
Bethel College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and is located in Mishawaka, IN.
Gillam is the son of Mike and Jeanne Gillam of Camden.
