The Heat has held us back. Due to multiple days of unsafe playing conditions the Oracles are doing everything in their power to reschedule contests and keep in shape. Schedules are currently up to date on EventLink. Girls Golf in full swing. Maelya Pitty earned second place honors in their match with Carroll shooting a 55 at Angel Hill. The girls keep improving and are looking forward to the conference championship at Chippendale and Sectional at Coyote Crossing in September. With only 3 girls they are not allowed to score as a team, but are competing as individuals in matches and tournaments for Delphi. Volleyball working to find their stride. After their opening varsity tournament 2-2 split, the girls have struggled to find consistent results on the court. They dropped to Fountain Central, Lewis Cass, and Frankfort in straight sets. They are 2-7 headed into a tough matchup at Rossville who are the defending conference champions. JV Volleyball finally closed the gap on their first victory, after several 3rd set losses they were able to take down Eastern at home in 3 sets. They improve to 1-4. Boys Tennis swat the Hornets! The Boys Tennis team swatted the Rossville Hornets in HHC Conference Regular Season Play. Ian Warenski at #2 Singles, Elijah McTigue at #3 Singles, and Gabe Henry & Noah Best at #1 Doubles earned victories to get the teams' first overall and conference win in the 2026 season. The following match they faced the defending HHC Champs in the Eastern Comets. Unfortunately the luck didn't come with them to Greentown as they were taken down 0-5. They improved their record to 1-5 last week. Football with ups and downs. The JV Team lost at home to Twin Lakes, splitting their record at 1-1. The same goes for the Varsity who after a strong performance at BC, fell to a talented Indian squad in Monticello. They also are 1-1. Junior quarterback Weston Brown continues to dazzle in the air having 7 total passing TDs in 2 games with no interceptions. Their next game will be at Eastern in a delayed start due to the excessive heat.
